Directions for Use

Sanitising Salad Vegetables

  1. Wash vegetables thoroughly in clean water to remove visible dirt and debris.

  2. Prepare a sanitising solution containing 50–100ppm available chlorine (2–4mL per litre of water).

  3. Soak vegetables for 5 minutes.

  4. Drain excess solution.

  5. Do not rinse after sanitising.

  6. Discard solution after use.

Note: If vegetables are not used immediately, refrigerate after sanitising. While sanitisation significantly reduces bacteria, it does not completely eliminate microbial growth.

Sanitising Food Utensils

  1. Wash utensils thoroughly.

  2. Rinse with clean water.

  3. Immerse in a 200ppm chlorine solution (40mL per 5 litres of water) for at least 30 seconds.

  4. Allow items to air dry on a clean rack.

Prepare fresh solution daily and replace at least every 2 hours during continuous use.

Hard Surface Sanitising

  1. Clean and rinse the surface.

  2. Apply a 200ppm solution (6mL per 750mL of water) using a spray bottle.

  3. Allow the surface to air dry.

  4. Discard any unused solution at the end of the day.

Measuring Sink Capacity

To ensure accurate dilution rates, determine sink capacity by measuring:

Length (cm) × Width (cm) × Water Depth (cm) ÷ 1000 = Capacity (Litres)

Accurate measurements help achieve the correct sanitising concentration and optimal performance.
